Open Beta: The Data-Sovereign Leak Check API is Live

July 13, 2026

Check passwords against leaks in compliance with GDPR and BSI guidelines, without sending data to the US or hosting your own databases: The Hansestack Leak Check is live and now available for development teams in Open Beta.

Getting started is incredibly simple: Create an account, generate an API key, and integrate.

Open Beta Conditions

Usage is completely free of charge throughout the entire Open Beta phase. The Open Beta is expected to run until mid-October 2026 — subject to change depending on test results and progress of the company incorporation. The goal is to test the infrastructure under real-world conditions prior to the commercial launch.

  • Limits: 50,000 requests per month and 25 RPS (Requests per Second), monthly reset.
  • Data Privacy: Strict zero-logging policy in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Resources and Integration

The interface is optimized for minimal overhead and millisecond latency.

Important Note on the Beta Phase

Although the architecture is designed for performance and stability from the ground up, this is an ongoing beta phase. The project is currently in the formal process of company incorporation. Therefore, there are no Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or uptime guarantees yet. For now, usage is recommended for Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and staging environments.

Constructive Feedback

This service is being built for production use in everyday development. To achieve the best possible result, real-world feedback is crucial.

Are there ambiguities in the documentation? Are technical details missing in the OpenAPI specification? Do the chosen limits fit your evaluated use case? Every well-founded response helps optimize the service before the official launch:
